Itinerary
Arrive Cochin. On arrival transfer to Munnar Check in to the hotel. Munnar, is 1600 mts above sea level and also the place of South India’s highest peak (Anamudi – 2695 mts). On the way visit Valara waterfalls, Cheeyappara waterfalls & Tea Plantations. On arrival at Munnar transfer to Hotel. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park), the best place to see Nilgiri Tahr (Hermitragus Hilarious) – the mountain goat of South India & Tea Museum. Evening have a short visit at Munnar town. You can see the beautiful tea estates like a green paradise.

- MUNNAR: Munnar rises as three mountain streams merge – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. 1,600 m above sea level, this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Sprawling tea plantations, picturesque towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Among the exotic flora found in the forests and grasslands here is the Neelakurinji. This flower which bathes the hills in blue once in every twelve years will bloom next in 2030.
- VALARA WATER FALLS: Not only is Valara Waterfalls mesmerizingly beautiful, but it is one of the highest Waterfalls near Munnar. The height of the waterfalls is around 300 meters, and it is originated from the gorgeous Deviyar river
- CHEEYAPPARA WATERFALLS: It is a tributary of the Periyar River, and cascades down 200 ft into a gorge. Both the falls are noted for good trekking trails and dense vegetation surrounding them. These two falls run down in all its glory after the monsoon season.
- RAJAMALA HILLS: Wildlife enthusiasts can look forward to the rare Nilgiri Tahr which is a type of mountain goat. Also worth a visit is the Rajamala Wildlife Sanctuary which is a portion of the much larger Eravikulam National Park which is 97 square kilometres in area.

- KUNDALA DAM: Kundala Dam Lake is among the major tourist attractions of Munnar. Also known as Sethuparvati Dam, the Kundala Dam was constructed for Pallivasal Hydro Electric Project in 1946 and is considered to be Asia’s first arch dam. From its top, one can enjoy breath-taking views of the lush green surroundings.
- POTHENMEDU VIEW POINT: This point is famous for its sunset view, located around 4 Kms from Munnar town, on Top of tea plantations, but on the day subset could not be seen due to clouds, however the landscape is beautiful.
- BLOSSOM PARK: Colorful landscapes, scenic views and loads of activities make it the perfect place to spend an evening with your friends and family. Green lawns, ornamental flower gardens and a serene lake can keep you engaged for hours. They also make this place a splendid location for some candid photos.
After breakfast check out from the Hotel and drive to Alleppey, on arrival check in to the hotel. Evening free for leisure activities. An important backwater destination attracting thousands of tourists every year, who come all the way to enjoy Alleppey for what it offers. After Breakfast at hotel, check out and proceed for day cruise with lunch in Alleppey. Embark houseboat in backwaters of Kerala. Alleppey is a charming emerald peninsula jutting into the picturesque Vembanad Lake dotted with innumerable traditional country rafts, boats and canoes. The fresh water of the lake flows into the mainland, making a labyrinth of lagoons, canals and waterways. Spend the rest of the day cruising through beautiful backwaters. Post lunch disembark from houseboat and drive to Cochin for city tour. On arrival check in to the hotel and begin for Cochin city tour includes St. Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Friday & Saturday), Dutch palace (closed on Monday), Indo Portuguese Museum (closed on Monday) and the famous Chinese Fishing Nets. - ALLEPPEY HOUSE BOAT: A cruise in a Houseboat is one of the best ways to enjoy the beauty of Alleppey Backwaters. The Kerala Backwaters are a network of interconnected canals, rivers, lakes, and inlets, a labyrinthine system formed by more than 900 km of waterways.
- ST.FRANCIS CHURCH: The St. Francis Church, well-known for its beautiful architecture and ambience, is believed to be one of the oldest churches built by the Europeans in India. The church’s history dates back to 1503. It owes its origin to the Portuguese Franciscan Friars, who reached Kochi along with Pedro Alvarez Cabral.
- JEWISH SYNAGOGUE: The Jewish synagogue was built in 1568, almost 1500 years after the beginning of the Jewish connection with Kerala. It was built on the land, adjacent to the Mattancherry Palace, given by the erstwhile king of Cochin. The synagogue, the oldest in the Commonwealth, was built by the Jewish community of Cochin.
- DUTCH PALACE: The palace, also known as Dutch Palace, is one of the finest examples of the Kerala style of architecture interspersed with colonial influences. It is famous for its long and spacious halls along with its central courtyard.
- INDO PORTUGUESE MUSEUM: The museum, preserves the rich heritage of Indo-Portuguese culture, art and architecture in Kerala, owes its origin to Dr Joseph Kureethra, the erstwhile Bishop of Kochi. The museum houses an invaluable collection of artefacts that reveal the Portuguese legacy in Fort Kochi and the surrounding areas.
