Kashmir Valley

  • Srinagar: Dal Lake (shikara rides, houseboats), Nigeen Lake, Mughal gardens like Shalimar & Nishat, Shankaracharya Temple, Tulip Garden (spring).
  • Gulmarg: Skiing and snow in winter, meadows in summer, famous Gondola cable car, golf course and Alpather Lake.
  • Pahalgam: Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, Chandanwari, riverside walks and pony rides.
  • Sonamarg: Thajiwas Glacier, high-altitude lakes and meadows, scenic drives via Zoji La.
  • Other scenic spots: Yusmarg, Doodhpathri, Dachigam National Park, Manasbal Lake, etc.
Jammu Region

  • Jammu City: Raghunath Temple, Bahu Fort & gardens, local markets.
  • Vaishno Devi (Katra): Major pilgrimage with trekking/pony/helicopter options to the shrine.

  • Patnitop & Sanasar: Hill station known for meadows, views of the Chenab valley, walks, basic skiing and paragliding nearby.
Itinerary

Maharashtra is the major hub for temples. Along with 3 Jyothirlingas, it’s a home for Ashtavinayakas, Shakthi Peetas and the famous Shirdi Sri Sai Baba shrine. A combination circuit would be the most ideal. Have a look to get a picture.

Day 1: Pune to Sri Bhimashankar temple and Shirdi

From Pune, we take Nasik highway to reach Sri Bhimashankar temple, post darshan proceed to Shirdi.

Night stay: Rest at Shirdi after a long journey.

Day 2: Shirdi to Sri Grishneshwar temple

Take the divine darshan of Sri Sai Baba at the sacred mandir. Then, proceed to Sri Grishneshwar temple, en-route visit Shani Singapur. Post Darshan, head back to Shirdi.

Night’s stay: Shirdi

Day 3: Shirdi to Maa SapthaShrungi Shakthi Peeta and Nasik

After breakfast, we head to the Maa SaptaShrungi shrine. Visit the temple and by evening we reach Nasik. Free to explore Nasik.

Night Stay: Nasik.

Day 4: Nasik to Sri Triambakeshwar Temple and back to hometown

After breakfast, proceed to Sri Triambakeshwar temple. Post darshan, take an evening flight/train to hometown.

Night Stay: Nasik.

How to reach?
By Air : Fly to Srinagar Airport (SXR) for Kashmir (Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonamarg). There are regular flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Jammu, Chandigarh, etc. Fly to Jammu Airport (IXJ) for Jammu region and Vaishno Devi (Katra), then continue by road.
By Train : For Jammu region & Vaishno Devi: take a train to Jammu Tawi or Katra (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra) and go by taxi/bus further.
For Kashmir Valley: the rail line is still being extended; most travellers take a train to Jammu or Udhampur, then continue by road towards Srinagar.
By Road : From Delhi / Punjab / Himachal, you can drive or take Volvo / state-run buses to Jammu and onward to Srinagar via the Jammu–Srinagar highway (subject to weather and road conditions).

Best time to visit
For Kashmir (Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam), the best time is March to June for flowers and pleasant weather, and December to February if you specifically want snow and winter vibes. For Jammu & Vaishno Devi, October to March is ideal, with cooler, more comfortable temperatures.
